USA a Failed State?

by Turtle

“Common indicators include a state whose central government is so weak or ineffective that it has little practical control over much of its territory; non-provision of public services; widespread corruption and criminality; refugees and involuntary movement of populations; sharp economic decline” (Wikipedia - Failed States Index).

A nation fails when the presence of militias and terrorists prevents said nation from using legitimate force within its borders, “is not able to enforce its laws uniformly because of high crime rates, extreme political corruption, an extensive informal market, impenetrable bureaucracy, judicial ineffectiveness, military interference in politics, cultural situations in which traditional leaders wield more power than the state,” according to Wikipedia.

Little Practical Control

Our small towns are not able to deal with the crime that’s being imported from third-world countries through the massive amount of illegal immigration (read that “foreign invasion”). Each town lacks the funds, capabilities, and technology to stop crime from happening. For all intents and purposes, there is little, if any, practical control in the US, especially when it comes to nabbing and prosecuting those foreign invaders.

Non-provision of Public Services

The ability of most, if not everyone, to have and maintain food, shelter, heat, and clothing, as well as emergency assistance in the form of emergency medical services (ambulance and ER), police, fire departments, is a basic of public services in a developed country. The US has millions with no health insurance, no way to heat their homes for lack of funds, little food to eat, emergency departments are shutting down, hospitals are closing, millions are losing their homes, and the list goes on.

Widespread Corruption and Criminality

Corruption and criminality are a package deal, as evidenced by the recent congressional “martial law” declaration while dealing with the bailout that nobody wants (except for the extremely rich!), last year’s McCain-Kennedy Amnesty Bill, the racist lobbyists who exert pressure and control over our political process, visits by more-corrupt and more-criminal leaders from other close-to-failed nations (Fox, Calderon, Ahmadinejad, etc).

Included under this subtitle is the lack of confidence on the part of the ruled towards the elite who resist any transparency or accountability. Our first retarded president, George W. Bush, had an approval rating of 23% in June 2008; our daft Congress held a approval rating of a whopping 9% at the beginning of July!

Involuntary Movement of Populations

Well, here we have millions of Americans forced to move to areas where they will have a better chance at competing for the few remaining employment opportunities that are left. This requires involuntary movement to new areas - often areas that haven’t seen a population influx in several generations - and those places are ill-equipped to deal with higher demand for public services and housing.

Sharp Economic Decline

This one is quite obvious - paying for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, scandals in the financial sector, deflation of the American dollar, the subprime mortgage social engineering fiasco, and the invasion by foreigners, and now a multi-billion dollar bailout of criminals - middle class America simply cannot bear the weight of all these burdens at the same time.

The USA is showing all the signs of being a failed state. The next step on this road to hell is the outbreak of violence, followed closely by an internal civil war, then possibly a hostile takeover by militant factions or foreigners.

Anyone who has not yet exercised their soon-to-be-gone Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, ought to do so immediately!
